About the Event

IN OUR SACRED CIRCLES

This historic conference aims to strengthen the bonds between Muslim and Indigenous communities through learning, sharing, and healing circles. Guided by expert academics, Indigenous Elders, Imams, community leaders, and activists alike, this first-of-its-kind national forum offers responses to the impacts of colonization in our communities and the discrimination we experience in various sectors. Alongside, this unique two-day assembly ushers in a new era of friendship centred in the well-being and spiritual nurturing of future Indigenous and Muslim generations grounded in allyship, mutual respect, and reconciliation.
