AUTHOR’S BIO
John Andrew Morrow completed his doctoral degree at the University of Toronto (Canada). He has taught for universities around the world and rose to the rank of Full Professor of Foreign Languages and Literature. He was recognized as a Master Teacher and Distinguished Faculty Member by Ivy Tech in 2012 and 2013. He received an Interfaith Service Award from the Islamic Society of North America in 2016 and a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition in 2017. In 2022, the Interfaith Institute of Long Island listed him as one of the 100 Notable Muslim Americans, among the likes of El-Hajj Malik El-Shabazz, Warith Deen Mohammed, Seyyed Hossein Nasr, Sherman Jackson, and other leaders and scholars.
